Treat your canine companion to a nutritious and delicious homemade meal crafted with love. This hearty beef feast is packed with protein and veggies, ensuring your dog gets all the essential nutrients they need. It’s a simple, vet-approved recipe that will have tails wagging in no time.

  1. Warm up a sizable pan over a medium-high flame. Crumble and cook the ground beef until it’s thoroughly browned, which should take between 5 to 7 minutes. After cooking, get rid of any excess fat by draining it away.
  2. In a large pot, combine 6 cups of water with the brown rice. Introduce the cooked ground beef, bones, and rosemary to the pot and bring the contents to a rolling boil. Adjust the heat to a medium-low or low setting and let the mixture simmer. Keep stirring now and then to avoid any sticking to the bottom of the pot, and continue cooking until the rice turns very soft, which should be around 45 minutes. If needed, add more water to maintain a consistency that is slightly thicker than porridge.
  3. In the meantime, take carrots, spinach, and whole eggs (shells included) and put them into a blender. Process them until the mixture is smooth, ensuring no pieces of eggshell remain.
  4. In a separate container, stir together the pumpkin and the pureed egg mixture until they are well mixed. Once the meat and rice mixture is done cooking, remove it from the heat and quickly incorporate the egg blend, allowing the residual heat to cook the eggs, which should take about 5 minutes. Allow the food to cool down completely, which should take roughly 30 minutes, before serving it to your dog.
