This recipe combines a creamy blend of peas, condensed soup, and cheese baked together for a satisfying dinner. It's a comforting one-dish meal that will please both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of celary soup (10.5 ounce)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 cup instant brown rice (uncooked)
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.

  3. Mix cream of celery soup, soy sauce, milk, salt, and pepper in a 2-quart baking dish. Stir in cooked ground beef, uncooked instant brown rice, and frozen peas.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Top with Cheddar cheese and continue baking until rice is tender and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
