  1. Prepare all your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the ground beef, rice, water, chopped onion, salt, celery salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Shape the mixture into 12 evenly sized meatballs.
  3. Preheat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until they are well browned, turning them once halfway through, which should take about 8 minutes. Remove any excess grease from the skillet.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, chicken stock, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar to the skillet. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and let it simmer. Cook until the meatballs are fully cooked and the rice is tender, approximately 45 minutes. If the sauce starts to dry out, add more stock as needed.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
